I never felt it before

It was a moonless summer night,
Cool breeze was blowing around me.
Standing on the roof,
Gazing at the stars,
Unusual did I feel,
And don’t know why
I wanted to be lost in that
Deep, never ending sky
To be in peace
Away from everybody.
But I knew it was not possible.
So I closed my eyes
Took a long deep breath
Thought something
And I felt a kind of peace,
I never felt before,
Within me.

    1. After closing my eyes, I thought- since I cannot get lost in that deep sky, i should rather enjoy those little beautiful things provided by nature- ‘stars’ and ‘cool breeze’ and find peace in these small things only and that made me realize an unusual peace I had never experienced.
